SMS suite question: SCOM (System Center Operations Manager 2007)

We are currently looking for a solution that will allow us to monitor our servers and network. We are looking at a few products and one of them is the Microsoft SystemCenter (which has a few solutions to it, but all seem to be in the same category).

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but figured I would give it a go.
We are trying to fit the following needs and want to know if SCOM (System Center Operations Manager, which is in the same category as SMS "I believe.), will do the following

-Real time monitoring of our servers (Windows, Exchange, SQL, IIS, Oracle, Clusters (both Exchange and SQL, and other soltuions), as well as network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) AND virtual servers (VMWare).

We want this to be in real time so we can display information on multiple screens (like a NOC), so we can get an immediate warning if something goes wrong. We also want this to be able to send e-mail, pager, SMS messages for critical errors.

Lastly, if possible, we run mostly Dell equipment here with some Sun SPARC servers, but be able to pull specific information from servers (CPU type and usage, memory how much, type, Storage---how many drives and RAID type----service tags for Dell servers.)

Those are our main requirements and I was hoping someone might be able to tell me if this is possible with SCOM.
