As I am unfamiliar with SCCM/SMS, I have read that if you run the ccmsetup.msi w/out the proper command line extensions, it should look to AD for the correct site code, management point and locator points. This is not happening. When I push the client, it installs without the proper site code and never speaks with our server. There are some entries in our schema in regards to SMS, but I think that may be the 2003 entries as that was already on this network before.
If I install manually or via GPO w/ the proper command line entries, everythign works fine.
One thing I should mention is that we do not have a WINS server (not sure if this is required, but I have seen some references to it).
Any help in a way to confirm that the proper extension has been added/completed would be great. And if it has been completed, help on how to get that aspect of SCCM working properly.
Thanks!

The first step would be to run the ExtADSch.exe file located in the \SMSSETUP\BIN\I386 folder. Once the EXE has run, review the %SystemDrive%\ExtAdSch.log file for any error.
After the schema has been extended, the next step would be for checking the SMS containers and the security level on these containers.
