Fail to Connect to SMS server using SMS administrator console

I just install SMS client on my workstation but I cannot connect to the server.  Other users are able to, so I know it's not ther server issue.  When I first open the console, it says, "Connecting to ...".  After 5 seconds, it says, "Connection Fail...."
