SCCM asks for a username and password

Whenever I update the SCCM client, I try to connect to the client and it asks for a username and password, no matter what credentials I use it will not let me access the client.  What am I doing wrong?

Is the service account that SCCM is using in the local admins group on the PC?

Also, make sure "Classic: Local users authenticate as themselves" is set in group policy:

Is Domain Admins part of the local administrators group on the PC?  It should get added to the local administrators group when you join the domain, but you never know.

The account under Site Database>Site>Client Installation Methods>Accounts has admin rights to the PC?

Can you get to \\targetpc\admin$ ?  If you can't get to the admin$ share on the PC, it doesn't think you have any administrative rights.
