ok, once I get the ISA servers monitored in SCOM via certificates, is there a way to SCOM test OWA connectivity through the ISA servers instead of through the CAS servers?
Thanks

We currently have our Exchange management pack testing OWA connectivity through the CAS servers. But we are looking for a way to test our OWA connectivity throughh our ISA servers, but these ISA servers are part of a local group, not the Domain. Is this possible? We are going to be upgrading to the Exchange R2 MP if that would help.
Thanks,
Tom

I downloaded ISA management pack from here and checked the documentation and did not find any refrence to Exchange CAS or OWA.
This MP will do "ISA connectivity monitoring", "This scenario enables monitoring of the ISA Server computers connectivity to the services it is publishing, the Internet and to infrastructure services (such as authentication and name resolution)."
Not 100% sure it will test OWA connectivity thorugh ISA.

As ISA servers are not in domain and you want to monitor them then you could setup Gateway server or monitor without using gateway server (In this case you need CA) il/blogs/g uybachar/a rchive/200 9/05/ 23/ho w-to-monit or-a-workg roup-compu ter-withou t-using-a- gateway-se rver-in-sy stem-cente r-operatio ns-manager -2007- scom .aspx
