Browse All TopicsI am attempting to install a pxe role on a 2008 server in our environment.
It seems as though the role fully installs, no errors.
WDS is installed, and not configured (by me).
It is a DHCP server, but option 60 was added by sccm.
When I attempt to PXE boot, I get the message.
"PXE-E55 Proxy DHCP Service did not reply to request on port 4011" and it boots into the existing OS.
I do have pxe working in our lab, but this server is located elsewhere.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have reinstalled wds and pxe role many times, so that shouldn't be what is going on now.

What the problem was, in my case, was that the Boot Image was not distributed to the DP.
Even though I had it elsewhere, I missed distributing it to this one.
After doing this, the problem was resolved.
