I haven't had much luck with an upgrade from SMS to SCCM. It doesn't help that we only use sms for remote tools really so nobody is very familiar with it. I initially tried to do a side by side upgrade without much luck so I decided to uninstall SMS. I extended the AD schema successfully and installed SCCM SP2. Everything looks like it's setup fine. I imported the client objects using a mof file. All PCs already have the SMS advanced client setup, but I can't use remote tools. I used the ccmclean to uninstall sms on a couple of clients and then tried to do a Client Push (again as far as I can tell everything is setup correctly meaning I have a domain admin account pushing the client). All the clients in the console are not assigned and no clients seen as well. I looked through the ccm.log and can't really decipher what is going on and how to fix it. Should it really be this difficult? Should I just uninstall the whole thing and start from scratch and let SCCM discover the clients through AD?
