apache configuration

My goal is to load MySQL, Apache and PHP on my Microsoft XP home computer so that I can create a web site that interfaces with a database.  I am a beginner.

I loaded My SQL, tested it out and it works. I loaded Apache and ran a quick test to show it was working.
Then I loaded PHP and modified the http.config file according to the instructions in my book, but I get the following error message when I start Apache:

                 Cannot load c:/php/php5apache2_2.dll into server: the specified module cannot be found.  

I checked and found the php5apache2_2.dll is located in the php diriectory.
