Machines geting removed from WSUS SP2 console.

Hi,
We have installed WSUS3 SP2 on Win 2003 server , Now we are facing with a peculiar issue that the WSUS  console shows only 293 Machines, even if we add new machines on the domain, though it appears on the console but any random computer  disappears from the console and the count of computers on the WSUS console remains at 293. All the machines that are on network are installed on one-to one basis and not by cloning or by Ghost
