Connecting Server 2000 to SBS2003

Asked by AndyKeen in Active Directory, SBS Small Business Server

Tags: ,

Hi All.
We have just began installing an SBS2003 server. Our client has two servers and both of them WERE running Server 2000 and both having active directory running.

One of the Server 2000 machines now has SBS2003 on it and I wish to join the other server (Still having Server2000 on it) into the domain as a Terminal Server.

I can change the domain name on it OK through the 'Control Panel - System - Computer Name' however the Active Directory portionof the OS still show the user names and accunts of the previous windows server 2000 setup.

Are these account name and general settings in active directory going to pose a problem and is there a way around it? - i.e. can I un-install AD and re-install it? Do I need to? etc etc.

Thank you and Regards
