Microsoft Windows Server 2003 is the AD controller...
I want to grant multiple users in Active Directory Full Control access only to their own folders by using the Profile tab and connecting the users to their home folder. The problem I'm having is the folders I want to grant them full control to already exist. If I try to change this profile attribute in Active Directory with multiple user accounts at once, I get the following error:
test,The %1 home folder was not created because it already exists. You might want to select a different name, or make sure that the user has full access privileges to the existing one.
However, I can follow the exact same steps as described above on an individual account and I am given a Yes/No choice:
The "UNC Share Path" home folder already exists. Do you want this user to be granted full control to this folder?
Doing this individually allows me to grant the permissions I'm looking for, but when trying to do multiple objects at once I get the error. Has anyone seen this before and/or know of a workaround? I'm trying to do this on multiple accounts and really don't want to have to do this individually...
