Can group policy be used to restrict internet access to certain users or pc's?
I am trying to find a good way to restrict internet access to certain users. I want certain users to be able to use the internet, while preventing other users from accessing the internet (except for maybe our intranet site). Can this be done by group policy? We have 2000 pro and xp workstations that use either Internet Explorer or Firefox to access the internet.

All of the above solutions will only work if the user is using Internet Explorer right?
I have a few computers running Firefox. I suppose I could uninstall firefox and not allow users to install programs. Any ideas?
