Hi, i'm setting up a child domain at a company that is located in the same location and subnet of the root domain. My question is what is the best way to setup DNS for the child domain. Since both parent-root and child domains are on the same subnet/physical location is it more simplistic to use the rool level DNS servers or to create new DNS servers in the child domain. I understand creating the new DNS servers will give me more redundancy but i'm not sure if thats the best approach. I've read some info on delegating DNS from the root to the child but i'm not sure what that means exactly.
Thanks
