How do I remove IE proxy settings using GPO?

I have set proxy settings using GPO, and it worked fine. However, now I need to remove them, but the settings just stay the same at the client.
Changing the proxy to another address or port works like expected, but when I try to remove the proxy-setting all together, nothing changes at all.

I  know the proxy setting will not be change if even unchecked "Enable proxy settings" in GPO

You try to select the Enable Proxy Settings check box, add 0.0.0.0 to the HTTP entry, and click OK.

So that those users cannot use proxy service again..

I hope it can help !

More information:

Furthermore, if you still want to allow the INTRANET website access after proxy settings has been changed, you are able to add "the specified local IP address / local Host Name" into Exceptions Box of proxy setting for locally access.

No, that's not quite it. You see, I want the users to have direct access to the internet, and not go through a proxy at all. If I set a proxy address like "0.0.0.0", my users would effectively lose the ability to surf the net.

What I want is to remove all proxy-settings, so that they get their webcontent directly from the web.
For this case, you just unchecked the box "Enable Proxy Settings" in GPO, the proxy service will be stopped. So that the users can directly access webcontent again.

That's what I've done, and that's what's not working. When I do that, nothing changes on the client PC. If, however I change to another address, the change happens as expected.

Unfortunately, I don't have the possibility to try this in another domain, so I don't know if this is a bug that only affects my domain or if this is normal. =/
