Ok so when running dcdiag the following error in returned: ***ERROR: There is an inconsistency in the DS, suggest you run dcdiag in a few moment, perhaps on another DC."
Which is fine, I knew there was an issue somewhere..but how should I go about troublshooting this? I have ran dcdiag on both of my other DC's with the exact same results.
Oh and a bit of extra information.. the only things that have been done to the domain in the past 6 months has been the introduction of a new DC to which I transferred all teh FSMO roles over to, as well as promoted the functional level to 2003.
Ok I found another question someone had concerning almost this same thing. Although I have not removed a DC the wrong way...or any way at all. But I did downloading a new dcdiag.exe from microsofts site dated Oct 2007. Im still getting the errors.
My comment directly above yours indicated that I've already tried a newer version of dcdiag. Still had the same results. Besides we didnt lose a DC...new or old.
