Advanced permission settings don't inherit properly

Asked by orbitrod in Active Directory, Windows 2003 Server

When adding permissions using the simple view, everything works fine.  The permissions are set and the are inherited by subfolder just fine.

But when I use the advanced permission screen to edit the permissions or add another group to the ACL, the permissions are not being inherited by "this folder , subfolders, and files".  I have check the setting and the permission says apply to "this folder , subfolders, and files", but when I go to a sub folder the permission says being applied to this folder, then when I try to go one more folder deep, the permission is not applied to the folder at all.Start Free Trial
