Raising DC functionality level with exchange connector on 2000 Server

Tags: Microsoft, Domain Controller, 2003, Exchange 2003 installed on 2000 server.

We are planning on raising the functionality level of our domain in preparation to a migration to Exchange 2007. All of our domain controllers are 2003, the last 2000 DC was removed a month ago. I am concerned about our Exchange 2003 server though. It is installed on a Server 2000 machine, and has the active directory connector installed on it. Will this cause problems if the functionality level is raised to 2003 Native? Would I have to change anything on the Exchange server during this process?
