recovery of duplicated files following WHS reinstallation

The primary drive on my WHS machine has packed up so I need to buy a replacement and use the server recovery program to rebuild the operating system component. Obviously all of the data stored on the broken drive will be lost.
However, I have Folder Duplication enabled, and an identical second drive which (according to the guidance I have read) contains an exact replica of the data on the primary drive. I am assuming that this drive is still working.
Will the recovery program automatically determine that the data on the second drive is a duplicate of that on the dea primary drive and rebuild the files? Or do I have to perform some sort of manual intervention to recover the data? In which case what would that be?
The Microsoft site doesn't seem to provide any information about this that I can find. I have a copy of WHS for Dummies (very useful) and this seems to indicate that it will recover the data but doesn't explain how.Start Free Trial
