Home Server Trial 120 days expired , data loss ?

Hi,

I have been using a trial version of MS Home Server (120 day trial). The trial period ended mid april. It totally slipped my mind, but i have since purchased a OEM copy. My question is, will i lose the data on my hard drives if i install the oem version over the trial version ?.

There are only two things you need to do:

1. During setup of the OEM version, you need to choose "Server Reinstall" as the Installation Type.

2. If you have WHS Console Connector running on any client PCs, you will probably need to run "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Home Server\Discovery.exe" on them to get them to reconnect.
