Thanks Matt-this seems to apply to Vista. Can the instructions be followed for Server 2008 too?

We are having problems with our roaming profiles on Server 2008 Terminal Services. We get the message "user profile was not loaded correctly" when we log on. This only started happening today.
Any ideas?

I've had this problem before with Windows Server 2008 and this KB article fixed the issue: http://support.microsoft.c om/?kbid=9 47242
You need to follow the section regarding searching and removing the SID entry for that user from the registry and ensure the C:\Users\%username% folder is deleted (backing up any important documents from it before hand).
