I have a customer that currently runs a SBS 2003 Stnd they are looking at putting in a new server for TS requirements, along side their current server. We are looking at installing Server 2008 on an HP box for this purpose. At this time it will only be acting as a TS for their remote users will not run AD, Exchange or anything else.
What are the licencing requirements for this, I understand I require TS cals for the number of TS users but will I need Server Licences as well. The server maybe used for SQL and filestore initially. It will also require Office 2007 SBE for the TS, how does one licence this is say their is 5 users that are going to be running on the TS similtaneously, assume you need 5 licences?
Currently they have 10 user CALS on the SBS2003
