Windows 2008 Repair not recognizing Adaptec 3405 drivers

Hi,

I am running Windows 2008 server with an Adaptec 3405 and 3x 1TB SATA HDD's.  Their are two partitions, both as dynamic disks.

I installed Acronis Disk Director and after rebooting realized that it did not support dynamic disk's.  I then uninstalled Acronis and upon rebooting received the following error:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.  To fix the problem:

1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."
3. Click "Repair your computer."

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance

file: \windows\system32\winload.exe
Status: 0xc000000e
Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt.

I then inserted the Windows 2008 DVD and attempted a repair but the existing Windows installation was not found.  I then downloaded Adaptec 3405 drivers that were signed and unsigned, both returned with not valid for hardware error.

Is there any type of mbr recovery utility supporting dynamic disks or does anyone else have a suggestion?

I am almost thinking of placing another hdd in the system and installing to that and attempt some sort of parallel recovery...

Many thanks,

Jon
