Printing Corruption through RDP Connection w/ Windows Server 2008
Printing a character string formatted for a barcode font, the font appears correctly on the screen but prints regular ASCII characters (NOT the ASCII characters I've barcoded though) when I print to paper, through a Windows Server 2008 remote desktop connection, redirected printer application, to HP LJ4 Plus.
On the paper print out, in place of barcoded character strings, the same, repeating ASCII character string is printed.
First noticed this w/ Access 2003 report and see same results using WordPad.
Fonts tried: Free 3 of 9 Extended (FRE3OF9X.TTF), Aatrix39Regular (Aatrix3of9Reg.ttf), BC I25 Medium (I25m.ttf) - and others. All behave similarly.
The barcode prints fine on my local workstation, but not through the RDP connection....
I'd appreciate your ideas. I will check back tomorrow.
I'm stumped.
Many Thanks, Jacob

Thank you for your consideration and suggestion. I tried installing the same print driver on the server that I use locally, with no change.
However, in my research I DID discover the solution:

Applying the MS HotFix: KB946411 solved the problem.
