Browse All TopicsHI, have a SBS 2008 box that will be used as a gateway to some client boxes. Am having trouble getting RDP connections to complete. Get error "Terminal Server Gateway not running".
Have bought and installed a SSL Cert from DigiCert for "remote.mydomain.com" and have it installed on server (using the Add a trusted certificate wiz) Also used the DigiCert, for the SSL Cert on TS Gateway service.
When I login to remote.mydomain.com from outside client, am asked "The webiste you want to view requests identification. Please choose a certificate. (WTF) Click OK and move on. After login I can see the DigiCert and recive no security warnings.
After logging on to RWW, Click connect to server and RDC box comes up, then click connect, and get a box with the heading "VBScript:Remote Desktop Disconnected" with "The Terminal Services Gateway Service service is not running."text.
Have restarted TS Gateway service. Reran Setup Internet address wizard and did fix network settings from Network Connections tab on SBS console.
CompanyWeb works fine. OWA works fine. Clients are XP SP3, am i in some kind of Certificate hell. I got everything to work for about 10 minutes after I created a self sigend cert and ran the client certificate install wizard on the outsice client,, but I want to use the DigiCert SSL.
