Use Server 2008 RemoteApp TS web access without allowing Remote Desktop

I want to use the TS web access interface for serving up hosted applications on a 2008 Terminal Server. I have it working quite well, however, I would like to not allow remote desktop sessions to the terminal server (ie, only allow users to connect to programs through the TS web access page. Is this possible?

I believe this can be set here:

IIS Manager -> Default Web Site -> TS VDir -> Application Settings -> set ShowDesktops to false

I don't think this is what I need. To clarify, I want to disable connecting to the terminal server via RDP, and only allow remoteapp. I realize both use the RDP, so this may not be possible.  Basically I don't want users to have access to a full blown desktop session on the terminal server.

I believe what I suggested will remove the remote desktops tab from the tsweb website, effectively accomplishing what you desire.

The tab isn't the issue. Users could still connect via rdp client on their computers whether the tab is there or not. I want to disable connectIng through the client (full desktop) while still enabling TS web access.

If you wish to block connect via the RDP client you should block port 3389 to all ip address except the ip address of the server, using the windows firewall on the server. TSWEB access as a proxy so when workstations connect to Remote Apps it appears to the server as the connection is being innitiated from itself.
