Browse All TopicsHello,
I have 2 servers running Windows 2008. One is a DC and 2nd server is a member server (32bit) hosting all the printers.
I have created the GPO and added the PushPrinterConnections.exe
I have deploying printers on Computers but when I login the printer is not deployed, there is no log in C:\Windows\Temp. The only printer is the original one i.e. Adobe Acrobt. Looking in the eventvwr I can see a log saying:
Event Id: 1000
Could not execute following script: PushPrinterConnection.exe
Any clues pleas? Also how would I specify default printer?

Need the 32 bit version of pushprinterconnections.exe
I realize this is a closed question but after we had so much trouble finding this I decided to post here with information on where to download the pushprinterconnections.exe
Here's a link to the page you'll need to go to:
http://www.microsoft.co
On that page, you'll need to download this file:
pmcmgmt.exe
You'll need to run this self-extracting file on a 32 bit machine (such as an XP box or 2003 box) and then do a file search for pushprinterconnections.exe
