2008 RODC logon problem

Hello,

I configured a read only domain controller and replicated all the AD users and computers and confirmed their existence. However when I moved the RODC to the new site I booted it up and tried to log on and it gives me and error at log on

there are currently no logon server available to service the logon request

I also cannot log into the local user account to change the ip settings to point it to the DNS and gateway.

sounds like you are trying to logon with a user account that is an admin (so wont cache by default) and now you have a server with the wrong IP settings and cant talk back to the root DC its partnered with......back to site 1 my friend :-) unless you want to get down and dirty windows OS :)

ok ive got a problem. machine was reipd to new subnet but i dont think there was a static route added back to the other lan so even plugging it back in to the writeable dc lan the rodc still cant find the logon servers...now what?

can i ip the writable dc to an ip in the same network temporarily
