Asked by lloydswylie in Windows Server 2008
We're running a W2k8 Server STD VM on a Hyper_v host. Users use RDP to connect to the VM. When users create new files via applications installed on the VM like Adobe, the files do not inherit the permissions of the folder they are created in. So users cannot subsequently access the files. Even users who are in the Administrators group on the VM can't access the files. Only the VM Administrator can access the files. This is also true when a user copies a file to the server from their local w/s. How can we get new files and folders to automatically inherit permissions from their parent folder?
Thanks
