I have a SBS 2008 server that has a Windows.old directory on the C Drive that apprear no files have been modified since June.
Is this folder able to be deleted or moved as I am running out of space.

Since I wasn't the one to witness it, I can't be sure either. But my original comment has changed. Frankly, I am always very paranoid about deleting things and would instead recommend MOVING it to an external hard drive just to be safe.
I advise this because in 15 years of supporting PCs, I've seen weird problems where you'd least expect it. (re)moving the folder should not post a problem... but you learn over time not to guarantee anything and as such a MOVE is BETTER than a delete since it can be more easily restored.

That's the old Windows install that was on the machine at the time SBS 2008 was installed. If your are sure there are no important files there, you can delete it. Frankly, I am always very paranoid about deleting things and would instead recommend MOVING it to an external hard drive just to be safe (it's a LOT easier to restore moved files than it is to restore DELETED files).
