Server Crash BSOD when copying large files
Hi Experts,
I'm fairly new to Windows 2008 technology.
Just bought a new PowerEdge Dell R710 with 2008 R2 Std. Edition with all latest updates installed. Quad 1 GB NIC. I want to utilize this NIC, with "load balancing and Fail-over" enabled with BACS 3. The latest drivers are also installed.
But when copying large files (> 10GB) from network share to the local drive of the server, it crashed and BSOD.
Disable BACS, only running on a single NIC, the files can be copied sucessfully. I really want to utilize the NIC with load balancing and fail-over.
Any idea on how to solve this proble?
Please advise.
cheers.

Hi Dariusq
Thanks for the quick reply.
Trend Micro
ahh.. I forgot to mention that.
IPv6 checksum offload
IPv6 Large Send offload
Receive Side Scaling
TCP Connection Offload
I've got those 4 disabled.
as for IPv4; they are all enabled.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi Dariusq,
i've removed Trend yesterday; so far so good.
Any specific reason why windows 2008 doesnt like Trend Micro?
We used Trend Micro Client/Server Edition for windows 2008 and it's version 10.
Either today or tomorrow; i'm going to try to install Trend Micro Server Protect and will see if this will do the trick to have the AV and windows 2008 running together. Or you have tried this already?
cheers.
