Browse All TopicsHi all,
After installation of SP2 for windows server 2008 on my SBS2008, accessing share drive is extremely slow. Even if I manage to get to the file, when trying to open it's slow, and in the end it will say that I should check the path, or file could be read-only.
I checked all permissions, I reset them; files are not read-only as before update everything was perfect.
What should I do? Would uninstalling SP2 help, or this is not an option?

Like I said before, files open as read-only and before I got warning:
Word experienced an error trying to open the file.
Try these suggestions.
Check the file permission for the document or the drive.
Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space.
Open the file with Text Recovery converter.
On server all is perfect.
Please help.
maybe this info will help and give you some clue: when trying to mapped the drive, trying to browse, i am not able to browse when double click on domain icon. I tried to right click and "explore", after minute i got: "Domain is not accessible, ......... Network path not found". I can ping domain and other PCs quick.
