best antivirus for server 2008r2
hi,
i've just setup a new windows server 2008 r2 machine and joined to server 2003 domain. i intend to replace 2003 dc-s with this one and setup exchange server 2010 on it. I wonder what is the best antivirus solution in this scenario. we use kaspersky enterpise security but it doesn't provide x64 versions of application.

i used symantec endpoint protection 11 x64 on my test environment and it caused bsods, since i'm very careful with symantec.
Sophos provides excellent protection.

AVG has a very good enterprise package as well.

I prefer Avast at home. The protection is excellent and it doesn't slow down my PC like AVG and Symantec do:

as far as "the best", that's pretty subjective really. Different people prefer different products for different reasons. Our company recently switched from Symantec to Sophos announcing it as an upgrade

Not knowing the number of users in your environment, I would suggest looking at Trend Micro Worry-Free Security Advanced solution. Handles Exchange servers (spam filtering is excellent), interface is straight forward, great url filtering, behavior monitoring. Supports Hyper-V, VMWare, 32 and 64bit platforms. Competitive upgrade pricing is excellent.

It may be hard to find a solution for Windows Server Antivirus because of the compatibility of Antivirus programs. I am using Symantec AntiVirus 10.0 Corporate Edition Server. It is okay.
