3GB instead 4GB

If it is not 64bit Windows, it will detect as 3GB only

If your running 32 bit (which you have not addressed in your other post) you can have a maximum of 4GB of memory. However, your machine may not recognize the full 4GB. Also, if you are trying to feed all of the memory to the virtual machine it will not work. You need to leave some free resources for the host machine.

but the memory limit on 32bit OS is 4GB not 3GB ??

To solve both questions you have in reagrds to this is to upgrade to X64 hardware and X64 Server O.S.

well if I configure the VM for to use 3GB in Windows I have available all memory configured, why if I configure 4GB then in Windows I have available always 3GB ?
