I am using Windows 2008 r2 .... without CItrix ....
I need to know exactly why this message occurs on remote desktop
reconnects and how to fix it. I have to reset the remote machine to
restart the OS to get back in.
I use remote desktop just for administrative tasks
"The task you are trying to do can't be completed because remote desktop
services is currently busy. Please try again in a few minutes. Other
users should still be able to log on."
Thank you

The request to wait, is to allow other users to log off. Disconnecting/re-connectin
I would like to not reset the server ... is there another way ?
Thank you
Racy

We have Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 installed on Dell MX1300 NAS Box, and wil have similar issue Mr. decioracy explained in hsi first post(2010-11-25 at 11:16:00ID26639140).
Tried Installing the Hotfix from this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2383928
but no luck... the system says the package is not supported on the platform.
No Luck..:-( any advices...:-) please do post.
Thanks,
Ranga.
We also have the same problem on Windows Server 2008 R2 (64bit) standard running XenApp 6.5.
I've also tried the hotfix above and receive the message that the package is not supported on the platform... I even tried both x64 and x86 packages out of desperation.
Has anyone found a fix other than the hotfix?
Any help, advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Neil

Has anyone experienced this issue recently? My servers are 2008 R2 Standard running XenApp 6.5 with all latest updates from both Citrix &Â MS installed. They are also VMs on VMWare ESX 5.5, with all updates applied.

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
