How to stop Java RLE Updater popups on Terminal Server Clients

I have a Windows 2008R2 server running Remote Desktop Session Host. I installed Sun Java RLE v6u30 using the deployment method (jre-6u30-windows-i586-iftw.exe /s IEXPLORER=1 MOZILLA=1) with the server in "change user /install" mode. There is an update to Java (v6u31) that I am not ready to deploy because it hasn't been tested with the application my users are running, but my clients that are connecting to the RDSH are getting the Java Updater popup dialog asking for a username and password. How can I block these types of popups in the client sessions? Can the updater be disabled?

Java updater starts from c:\program files (x86)\common files\java\java update\jusched.exe
You may just deny user access to this file.
Another option is to delete it from registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
