I inherited a client with a Windows 2008 SP2 Server (32 bit), 4GB memeory, Intel X3430 2.40GHz. It is using a statice internal IP Address. Appears that the gateway is the ISP modem. This server is a file server, houses the company info for peachtree and Vipre Business Antivirus. It is NOT running AD and is NOT part of a domain. &nbsp;Server is NOT providing DNS (ISP providing); DHCP is turned off.<br />

My end users are complaining that retrieving files from the server is really slow. <br />
I have run the usually apps for performance. <br />
Looking for suggestions.
