Migrate MS Exchange 2007 to New Server with New OS

Hello,

He is the situation I am facing and after hours of searching on-line and countless forums I have decided to post it here.

I have one MS Exchange 2007 server installed that is in full production. This MS Exchange Server is running on Windows Server 2003 R2 x64. We will call this server (MAIL01). I want to know if it is possible to install a new server with Windows Server 2008  and install Exchange 2007 to restore my Exchange data to it. I will have to somehow move all the existing settings in terms of SSL certificates for OWA, etc. I am looking for any suggestions on this.

Should I keep the same server name and IP address for the new server as is on the existing (MAIL01) server or just go with something new and IP address?
