Windows Server 2012 RAID Controller driver will not load

I am doing a new Windows Server 2012 install. My server motherboard is a Supermicro X8DTL-if that I have updated to the latest BIOS, version 2.1b. I have an Intel RS2WC040 RAID Controller connected to (4) Western Digital RE SAS 1Tb hard drives configured as two RAID1 arrays.

I have updated the RS2WC040 controller to the latest firmware package (v20,10,1-0126_r2 ) and I have downloaded the Windows Server 2012 drivers for the RS2WC040 and placed them on a USB drive.

When I run the Windows Server 2012 setup, I get to the dialog that states "A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB or Hard Disk driver. If you have a CD, DVD or USB flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now."

I insert the USB with the files on it and browse the USB drive and select the folder for the W2K12 driver. It displays the "Intel RAID Controller RS2WC040 (E:\RS2WC040 Raid Controller\Windows Server 2012\Driver\Signed_Driver_6.504.5.0-WK1megasas2.inf) in the list of available drivers. I select it and then after it scans a bit, I get a message that states "No new devices were found. Make sure the installation media contains the correct drivers and then click OK"

If I click OK, it just scans a bit and then repeats the message.

Any ideas?
