Set licensing mode and licensing server in RD server 2012
Hi,
We have set up a server 2012 as a remote desktop server. This is a standalone server, it isn't a member of any domain.
We have been using it for 3 months now and the grace period is almost over. We have installed RD license on the same server. Now we have to tell the session host which license server it has to use and what licensing mode.
The problem is that there is no remote desktop session host configuration tool in server 2012.
When in server manager, I go to remote desktop services -> overview and there it says that i'm logged on as a local user and that I have to be logged on as a domain user in order to see collections and more configuration options.
Isn't it possible to use a terminal server in a non domain environment?
Thanks in advance for the help.

There is no GUI to set the licensing mode or server in 2012 when in a workgroup. You have to manually edit the registry or, my recommendation, set the local computer group policy settings (which basically sets the registry for you.)
