How to rename domain name on Windows Server 2012 without client to rejoin the new domain?
Dear All Expert-Exchange Members,
I want to rename my Windows Server 2012 domain name e.g. olddomain.com to newdomain.com. I found some guides on how to rename domain but it need all clients to rejoin the new domain after change.
Can you give me some guide or trick to solve this problem?

FYI renaming domain name will break exchange.
Please let me know what is the purpose of renaming the domain?
May be we would be able to propose better solution.
If you just want to see yourcompany.com you can simply add a UPN-Suffix so your users can see user@yourcompany.com as their login.
In my view renaming a domain is not required in any organization.
Please read this regarding renaming of domain

You can follow the above link posted.
But please make sure no domain dependant applications are there as renaming may cause problems for that application.
