I receive this error code without description.
I check it into MSDN Site and this is the message:
ERROR_INSTALL_PACKAGE_REJE
1625
This installation is forbidden by system policy. Contact your system administrator.
I'm working to figure out on what can be the solution for all the app that wasn't installed in my PC,
could someone help me about what can I do to install this app???

-Is your computer part of a Lan ?
-Do you login to a 2000 domain controller ?
-If so speak to your administrator & explain to him the error. It seems likley that a domain policy exists that is preventing installation of the app.
-If there is no domain controller & its a stand alone PC, please get back to me with this info.

Though I think schmiequ should get the points, let me point out that the Policy Editor entry actually
says, "Run Only Allowed Windows Applications", not "only allow certified apps". No argument intended,

You can configure a user's desktop setting using Intellimirror. It is set of powerful features built
into Windows 2000.

You can also use mandatory user profile. It is a read only user profile for specifying particular desktop
settings for individual or group of users.

-Have you created OU's on the 2000 domain controller ?
-Where does your computer sit in active directory users & computers ?
-If its listed in computer, create an OU called Test. Move your computer to OU TEST.
-Right click on OU Test & click on group policy. On the botton of the screen click "block inheritance".. Click options button & click "No override".
-Close Active directory users & computer.
-Log off your PC & log back in & try your app install thing again.

Apparently you have a Policy in place that prevents certain program from being installed.
This is common in places that have a LAN, and A Domain setup.
You will need to talk to your System Administrator to get this solved.
If you are not on aLAN, then you need to check your system policy.
