Browse All TopicsI have got a user (He's a doctor, working from his office) on a Windows 2000 Laptop. He has his homepage set to www.netscape.com. Now the problem is that everytime, he launches Internet Explorer, multiple browser windows launch along with it. Now these multiple windows are not pop-up ads, they are the same browser windows as the first initial one that he opens.
The following is what I have done:
1. Delete Temp Internet Files and cookies.
2. Downloaded and installed Ad-ware 6. Ran Ad-ware and removed alot of Data Miner programs.
Get a call from the user again, stating that after I left, five minutes later, he is getting the same thing again.
Any help would be appreciated.
