Just a side note. &nbsp;I would strongly reccommend setting up individual service accounts instead of using the Administrator account. &nbsp;For example if you need an account for a backup service, create a user svc-backup and put them in the domain admin group. &nbsp;I would also be a very good idea to change the usr for the administrator account, to some thing like mydom-admin on the account properties page.

I am looking at changing the domain administrator password for my domain. Does anyone have any suggestions for what steps I should take to ensure things run smoothly after the password has been changed? Maybe a document or best practices list? Any help would really be appreciated.<br />

Changing of the Domain Administrator Password????

Windows 2000 is an operating system for use on both client and server computers. It is the successor to Windows NT 4.0, and is the last version of Microsoft Windows to display the "Windows NT" designation.
