I already have trust realtionship established, and its working fine. but the question is that I have 2 differnt domain names where I want that NT domain to just join the 2000 domain. so I can have only one domain. In other words how can that NT server be a Member server of my 2000 based domain. Thanks,
Im thinking that the best option would be to migrate the NT domain into the 2000 domain.

If you have two seperate domains you need to set up a trust between the win2k domain and the NT domain - win2k domain should be running in mixed mode - not native mode.

Windows 2000 domain uses Active Directory - no longer uses PDC or BDC.
