automate search assistant from batch file or other application?

I would like to search a cdrom with user specific search words from a multimedia app.
I can write out a batch file at runtime

Is there a way to open the windows search assistant [search:files and folders] from a batch file with the search options prefilled e.g.

search files/folders named: *.doc *.txt *.xls
containing txt: user entered search terms
Look in: e.g. H:

and start the search

As long as none of the data in the files to be searched is encrypted, you can do this using only the builtin command set using "SET /P" to get the input strings and then FindStr.exe to search.
