Restoring Registry entries from a registry on another HD

Hi,

I look for something that enlight me on this.
On my work, I installed some soft of mine use and
yesterday my machine got crazy and started an
infinite boot loop. It's boot and reboot again and again.
So, my HD was transferred to another machine
and I don't want to reinstall the softs again (since
both things are available and I have a PE viewer
which I can look for the DLLs needed on the
WINNT folder).
So, the question is: how I can dig the registry
from the other HD' registry without destroying the
actual settings of the machine.

I sugest you dont try this the hardware would have to be identical, and then you would have to strip the SID from the rescued drive, rescue your data while the drive is slaved and rebuild it :(

Can you start machine in Safe mode without problems? If yes, do you know, after what kind of software you saw that your machine got this behavior? I mean that we can search the entries of these software in registry and clean your entries.

It should be a very similar process for Win2K

It's a hardware problem. The machine was sent
to technical personnel and only my HD was trans
ferred (as Slave) to another one (which have its own
HD and Winblows as well)
I just want to import some keys from the registry
that I have on my HD to the Registry on the host
machine...

It's possible?
