The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. How do i get rid of Internet Explorer once and for all times in a Window 2000.

I have tried to get rid using the remove/programs utility and I get a window but the remove IE is in there but it is not enabled. The only thing that I can do is to Fix IE. I do not want to fix it. I want it gone. I have done this with administrative privs. I keep getting popup windows always related to IE. The majority of the times that I get some type of troubled window it  will have IE in the top of the window. The one that I am getting a lot of is the IE Script Error windows. Where it says "a script error has occurred in the script in this page. Then it names the line, char, error, code and the url. I get plenty of them. And again if I did not have IE running I assume I would not get anything related to IE. I could be wrong and if I am please let me know. The other thing that I get is the IE browser just launches it self. I never start it but all of a sudden I have the IE browswer with some url address. Other windows related to IE that I get are Microsoft IE that says "You must click YES to continue" that is all it says. So I have not idea what I have to click YES to. Or I will get another Microsoft IE that says "Your computer is infected with Spyware and Adware. Click OK to find out how to remove it.
