We upgraded from Exchange 2000 to 2003. This is a member of an Active/Passive Cluster. For some reason, there is a F: drive that has the EXACT same contents of the C: system drive? Clueless has to how that happened.

Try using another User Account = Administrator
See if the same thing happens to this user.
If not, then I suggest that you go into:
C:\Documents & Settings\
On the User account that this problem is happening with.
Rename "its" forder from User1 to User1~
Then Right Click on [My Computer]
Go to [Properties]
Then to the [Network Identification] Tab.
And recreate the "Same" account to Join the Computer's "Workgroup (or) Domain"
Let us know?
I followed knowledgebase article http://support.microsoft.c
Robrandon, that is interesting! We do have Group policy enforcing IE settings, folder redirection, etc.. We also log into our systems using our personal domain accounts for auditing reasons.
Do you remember how you prevented the issue from happening? I guess I could move our Administrators (personal) user accounts to a seperate OU and prevent group policy inheritance.
I think the problem occurred when logging on to the machine before a certain SP level with an account that gets the GP. We logged on with an account that did not get the GP, updated the system, and then logged on with the other account and it was ok. We may have had to remove the profile for the other one first, don't recall.
It doesn't seem like that was your problem here though.

This can happen for a lot of reasons.
Does Windows display any error message when it refuses to log you in?
Also did you by any chance upgrade your system or changed the drive letter of your Windows drive?
