Background:
I have a custom build application and it has been run for years under windows 2k3. Recently I rebuild the app and give it new version number, and then problem comes.
Problem:
I have several win2k3 server. My new software run ok with other server (win2k3), but only on one node I cannot execute it. Every time I run the app, window comes back with error message:
"*.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created."
If my app has problem, it wouldn't run on other node. But the fact is it run on other and refuses to run on one. That makes me think there is something incompatible on this node or security setting, but don't know which.
Can anyone give me an advice on this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.
