Thank you for the assistance. The issue its self seems to be an image was made of system files that themselves were corrupt. I was just unsure if there was a way to repair system files that were on a ghost image. As of now I am preparing to overwrite and start fresh and manually salvage all of the clients files that I am able to.

Unless you can get the image installed knoppix could assist you access the OS.
